Betting sites in Nepal operate offshore, and since March 2026 using them is illegal. The government banned all betting apps and websites on 29 March 2026. The Nepal Telecommunications Authority then blocked more than 7,000 of them.

This page does not pretend otherwise. We tested 8 offshore bookmakers that Nepali players use most. We placed real cricket bets at each one. We also requested a real withdrawal where our bet allowed it.

Betting Sites in Nepal — What We Confirmed

Payment availability comes from each betting site’s cashier and payments page. We did not verify licences with the regulator. Treat every licence number above as a claim by the operator.

We list betting sites in order of what we could confirm. Betwinner comes first because it is the only one that paid us. That is not a recommendation. Every site below carries player complaints about payments.

Betwinner — The Only Withdrawal We Completed

Betwinner paid our USDT withdrawal, but it took 5 days. Verification took 2 days, and processing took 3 more. Betwinner requested KYC documents as soon as we asked to withdraw. No deposit wagering was required. The network fee did not reduce the amount we received.

Betwinner is the only betting site here without eSewa, Khalti or IME Pay. Nepali players would need cards, e-wallets or crypto. Betwinner holds 1.2/5 on Trustpilot from 719 reviews (October 2026). Common complaints concern unpaid winnings. Our one withdrawal arrived, but slowly.

1xBet — Lowest Listed eSewa Minimum

1xBet lists eSewa, Khalti and IME Pay for Nepal. The minimum deposit is NPR 100, as listed at 1xBet. That is the lowest entry point among the betting sites we checked. We placed a cricket bet at 1xBet, and it lost. We could not test a withdrawal.

Trustpilot hides the 1xBet score after removing fake reviews, with 8,527 reviews listed (October 2026). Players report deposits debited but never credited. Others report accounts blocked after verification. If you try 1xBet, assume the money may not come back.

Mostbet — Widest Payment List

Mostbet is the betting site with the widest payment list: eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay and 15+ other methods. The eSewa minimum is NPR 500, as listed at Mostbet. The licence holder named on the site is Bizbon NV. Our cricket bet at Mostbet lost, so we have no withdrawal result.

Trustpilot withholds the Mostbet score, and 70% of its 4,847 reviews are 1-star (October 2026). Some players report blocked accounts and cancelled withdrawals. Others describe slow but successful verification. The picture is mixed, and our data cannot settle it.

Megapari — Three Local Wallets

Megapari is one of three betting sites with eSewa, Khalti and IME Pay, each from NPR 500. Our cricket bet at Megapari lost. We did not reach the withdrawal stage.

Trustpilot withholds the Megapari score. Of 4,730 reviews, 54% are 5-star and 31% are 1-star (October 2026). Complaints include a blocked withdrawal after a win and endless verification. Some players report payouts in under 12 hours. Megapari reviews contradict each other, so start with the minimum.

Melbet — Local Bank Transfer Listed

Melbet is the only betting site here that lists eSewa, Khalti and Nepali bank transfer together. The wallet minimum is NPR 500, as listed at Melbet. Our cricket bet at Melbet lost.

Trustpilot withholds the Melbet score, and 80% of its 1,420 reviews are 1-star (October 2026). Negative reviews describe withdrawals marked “paid” that never arrived. Bonus disputes also appear. Melbet’s rules also require withdrawals to the same details used to deposit.

888starz — Crypto-First Cashier

888starz is a crypto-first betting site with more than 40 coins, plus eSewa and Khalti. The eSewa minimum is NPR 110, as listed at 888starz. The site names a Curaçao licence but shows no number. Our cricket bet at 888starz lost.

Trustpilot withholds the 888starz score, and 68% of its 528 reviews are 1-star (October 2026). Players report an account blocked with €450 withheld without explanation. Others report withdrawals stuck on mobile wallets.

Crickex — Cricket-Focused, eSewa Only

Crickex is a cricket-focused betting site with eSewa and local bank transfer, but not Khalti. The eSewa minimum is NPR 500. Support runs through WhatsApp and Telegram, as listed at Crickex. Our cricket bet at Crickex lost.

Some Crickex domains carry “possible scam” warnings. Crickex holds 2.0/5 on Trustpilot from 177 reviews (October 2026). Players report withdrawals rejected for “suspicious bets” after a win. Players do praise the live betting interface.

PariPulse — Licence We Could Not Verify

PariPulse is a betting site that lists eSewa and Khalti from NPR 200. The site shows licence OGL/2023/301/0477, but that number does not verify. Our cricket bet at PariPulse lost.

We found no Trustpilot profile for PariPulse. Complaints cover delayed deposits, blocked withdrawals and weak support. PariPulse is the weakest site on this list by every signal we have.

Is Online Betting Legal in Nepal?

No. Betting is an offence under the Muluki Criminal Code 2074. The penalty is confiscation of the stake, a fine up to NPR 10,000 and up to one year in prison. The same law covers anyone who promotes betting. Our full guide explains whether betting is legal in Nepal and what the penalties cover.

The government ordered all betting apps and websites shut on 29 March 2026. The Nepal Telecommunications Authority blocked more than 7,000 platforms within days. Police continue to arrest players and agents across the country.

A Curaçao licence does not make a betting site legal in Nepal. It means a foreign regulator issued a permit. Nepal has no local licence and no regulator for betting disputes. How We Tested Betting Sites for Nepal

We ran the same steps at every betting site in October 2026. Each step either produced a test result or a figure copied from the operator’s site.

1. Registration, checking whether Nepal and NPR appear in the lists.

5. A withdrawal request, where the bet left a balance.

Deposits and Withdrawals in NPR

Wallet limits come from eSewa and Khalti’s own published rules. Nepal Rastra Bank has warned that it will freeze wallets and bank accounts used for betting. The Prime Minister’s Office ordered action against wallets linked to betting in March 2026.

Cricket and Other Sports on Betting Sites

Cricket draws the most interest from Nepali bettors. We placed one cricket bet at each site on a current league. Betwinner, 1xBet, Melbet, Megapari and PariPulse list live cricket on their sites. Melbet offers cash-out as “Bet Slip Sale”, as listed in its rules.

Football comes second, followed by esports. Do not expect live streams by default. Betwinner lists live streaming. We did not test streams at any site.

Six betting sites list eSewa and Khalti, which is what most Nepali players use. Every site carries serious payout complaints.
